All-on-6 cost in 2026: the complete guide for UK patients
The headline price is the start, not the answer. This guide puts every part of the cost in one place, from the first X-ray to the check-ups years later.
In the UK, a full arch on implants averaged £13,425 per jaw in the most recent published survey, before scans, extractions and grafts, so both jaws can pass £25,000. Abroad, published All-on-6 packages for both jaws in Antalya start at around £4,800, and our top pick, Precious Dental, charges £6,500 including hotel and extractions. Add flights, extras and UK aftercare to compare fairly.
All-on-6 replaces a whole arch of teeth with a fixed bridge held on six implants. It is one of the largest single purchases most people make for their health, and the prices you see online are hard to compare: some are per jaw, some for both, some include hotels and extractions, and some include almost nothing. This guide brings the whole cost together, in the order you will meet it.
The short version
- UK private fee: the most recent published survey put a full arch on implants at an average of £13,425 per jaw, from £9,000 to £25,400, excluding scans, extractions and grafts. It dates from 2016–2017.
- Turkey package: Antalya clinics that publish All-on-6 prices range from about £4,800 to over £20,000 for both jaws.
- Our top pick: Precious Dental, £6,500 for both jaws, including extractions, temporary teeth, titanium bar, zirconia teeth, X-rays, medication, hotel on both trips and transfers.
- On top, abroad: flights for two trips, insurance, meals and a reserve for the unexpected.
- On top, everywhere: check-ups and hygiene visits for life, and eventually a new set of teeth on the same implants.
Stage 1: finding out what you need
Before any price means much, a dentist needs to see your mouth. A panoramic X-ray shows the teeth and the general shape of the jaw; a CBCT 3D scan shows bone height and width in detail, which decides whether six implants fit and whether you need extra procedures.
In the UK, a private consultation with an implant dentist and a scan is usually charged, sometimes refunded against treatment. If you are an NHS patient, your dentist may take X-rays as part of a routine Band 1 check-up when clinically needed; that is currently £27.90 in England. Overseas clinics, including Precious Dental, usually give a provisional plan from an X-ray or photos you send, and include the CBCT scan in the treatment. Getting an X-ray at home first is covered in getting an X-ray in the UK before All-on-6.
Stage 2: the treatment price
In the UK
The 2017 survey is the only published benchmark for UK full-arch fees with a named source. Doubled for two jaws, its average comes to about £26,850, before the items it left out. Some practices charge less for the second jaw when both are done together; others charge more than the survey because fees have risen. A written UK quote is the only reliable figure, and it is worth getting one even if you plan to go abroad. See All-on-6 cost in the UK.
Abroad
Turkish clinics usually sell All-on-6 as a package. The most useful thing you can do is put every package on the same footing: both jaws, the same items included. On that basis, the published prices we found in Antalya run from about £4,800 (two clinics, once one-jaw prices are doubled) to £20,285 (a clinic using Straumann implants). The full table, with links, is on All-on-6 prices compared.
What a fair price contains
Six implants per jaw, their connectors, fixed temporary teeth, a final bridge with its material named, usually a titanium bar, the scan, X-rays, extractions and medication. Packages add hotel nights and transfers. Our price breakdown lists each part and what it is worth.
Stage 3: the extras a scan can add
Some costs only appear once the scan shows your bone. In the upper jaw, a low sinus may need a sinus lift; anywhere, thin bone may need a graft; and in rare cases of severe upper-jaw bone loss, zygomatic implants anchored in the cheekbone are used instead. These are not tricks if the clinic prices them in advance. At Precious Dental they are £350 per sinus lift, £150 per cc of bone graft and £2,000 per zygomatic implant, charged only if needed. Ask any clinic for the same list in writing. Hidden extras covers the ones that are less fair.
Stage 4: travel
Treatment abroad means two trips: one for the implants and temporary teeth, and one, usually around four months later, for the final teeth. Each trip has flights, getting to and from the airport, meals and, if the package does not include it, the hotel. If someone comes with you, their costs count too. The NHS suggests allowing for an extended stay and the possibility of a return trip.
We do not publish average fares, because they vary too much with your airport and dates. Look up real fares and enter them in the calculator. Travel costs lists every line.
Stage 5: paying
How you pay affects your protection. Paying the clinic directly by credit card can bring Section 75 protection for amounts between £100 and £30,000, according to Citizens Advice. Paying in stages, tied to the work done on each trip, keeps you from being far ahead of the treatment. Both are explained in paying safely and Section 75 and All-on-6.
Stage 6: after treatment
Implants do not decay, but the gum and bone around them need care for life. Plan for regular check-ups and hygiene visits with a dentist at home, cleaning aids, and possibly a night guard if you grind your teeth. Years later, the teeth fixed on the implants may need replacing; at Precious Dental a set of 24 zirconia teeth costs £3,600 today. The lifetime cost sets this out.
Putting it together: an example
Here is how the stages add up for one person travelling alone to Antalya for both jaws at Precious Dental. The travel figures are illustrations; yours will differ.
| Item | Example |
|---|---|
| All-on-6, both jaws, with hotel, transfers and extractions | £6,500 |
| Flights, two trips | £400 |
| Parking, insurance, meals | £250 |
| Reserve for a spare trip | £300 |
| First year of UK check-ups | £150 |
| Total | about £7,600 |
Against a doubled UK survey average of about £26,850, before UK extras, the difference is large. Against a real UK quote it may be larger or smaller; that is why the calculator lets you enter your own. For three different situations worked through in full, see worked examples.
What has changed in 2026
Three things make 2026 a slightly different year to plan in than a few years ago.
- More clinics publish prices. Several Antalya clinics now put All-on-6 prices on their websites, which makes like-for-like comparison possible without filling in forms. It also makes it easier to spot quotes that are far out of line.
- NHS dental charges have risen. In England, Band 1 is now £27.90, Band 2 £76.60 and Band 3 £332.10. That affects what your aftercare costs at home if you can see an NHS dentist.
- More attention on safety. The Foreign Office's travel advice for Turkey now has a section on medical tourism, advising people to discuss plans with a UK dentist and do their own research because companies selling treatment have a financial interest. That advice applies to us as much as anyone.
Common mistakes when budgeting
- Comparing a one-jaw price with a both-jaws price. The most frequent error by far. Read every quote twice.
- Forgetting the second trip. Flights for the first trip are easy to remember; the return four months later less so.
- Assuming the hotel covers both trips. Ask how many nights are included on each.
- Treating "from" as the price. A "from" figure is the lowest case. Ask what yours would be.
- Leaving nothing in reserve. A small contingency turns an inconvenience into a non-event. See a contingency budget.
- Ignoring the years after. Check-ups and an eventual replacement set of teeth are part of the real cost.
A fill-in version of all of this is on the All-on-6 budget template.
Choosing on more than price
The NHS and the Oral Health Foundation both advise basing the decision on the quality of care rather than the destination or the discount, and speaking to a dentist at home first. Ask who will place the implants, which brand they use, what the guarantee covers and what happens if something goes wrong after you are home. Those answers matter as much as the total.
Our own answer to those questions is on why Precious Dental is our top pick. Whoever you choose, ask for the plan and every price in writing before you book a flight.
Common questions
How much is All-on-6 for both jaws in the UK?
There is no official price list. Doubling the 2017 survey average of £13,425 per jaw gives about £26,850, before scans, extractions and grafts. Practices may charge less for the second jaw, and fees have likely risen since the survey.
How much is All-on-6 for both jaws in Turkey?
Published prices from Antalya clinics range from about £4,800 to over £20,000 for both jaws. Precious Dental's price is £6,500 including extractions, temporary teeth, the titanium bar, hotel and transfers.
Does the NHS pay for All-on-6?
Rarely. The NHS says implants are usually only available privately, apart from some patients who cannot wear dentures for specific medical reasons, and it does not refund dental treatment abroad.
What is the biggest cost people forget?
Usually the second trip and the extras a scan can add. After that, UK check-ups and, years later, a replacement set of teeth.
Is the cheapest price the best value?
Not necessarily. Compare what each price includes, the implant brand and the final teeth. A low price with many extras can cost more in the end.
