All-on-6 for one jaw or both: how the price adds up
The easiest mistake in comparing All-on-6 prices is putting a one-jaw quote next to a two-jaw quote. Here's how to spot it.
All-on-6 means six implants holding a full bridge in one jaw, so treating both jaws means twelve implants and two bridges. Some clinics quote per jaw and some for both. Always check, and compare like with like. Treating both jaws in the same trips saves on travel compared with doing them separately.
How quotes are worded
| The quote says | It probably means | Check |
|---|---|---|
| "Per arch" or "per jaw" | One jaw only | Double it for both, then check the extras |
| "Full mouth" | Usually both jaws | Ask: twelve implants and two bridges? |
| "From £…" | The lowest case, often one jaw | Ask what your case would cost |
| "Both jaws, in total" | Upper and lower together | Check both bridges are final, not temporary |
One jaw at a time, or both together?
- Together: one set of trips, one healing period, and usually a lower total for travel.
- Separately: a smaller operation each time, but twice the trips and hotel nights.
- Only one jaw: if the other still has healthy teeth, keeping them is often the better choice. Ask the dentist why they recommend what they do.
Comparing fairly
In the calculator, choose "one jaw" or "both jaws" first. The UK comparison and our own price adjust to match. If a clinic's quote is per jaw and you need both, enter the total for both.
Our own price is for both jaws in total. See it, with what it includes, on All-on-6 cost in Turkey.
Common questions
Is your price per jaw?
No. Our own All-on-6 price is for both jaws (upper and lower) in total. Many other quotes are per jaw, so check before comparing.
Do I need both jaws done?
Not necessarily. It depends on the teeth you have left in each jaw. Some people need only the upper or the lower.
Can both jaws be done on the same trip?
Often, yes, if your health and bone allow it. It means fewer trips in total, but a bigger day of surgery.
Is the UK survey figure per jaw?
Yes. The 2017 survey average of £13,425 is per jaw, so both jaws would be roughly double, before extras.
