How we calculate
Every figure on this site has a source and a date. This page explains them, and how the calculator turns your numbers into a total.
UK fees come from a 2017 survey of UK implant dentists, NHS charges from nhs.uk, our own price from Precious Dental's price list, and other clinics' prices from their own websites, read in October 2026. One-jaw prices are doubled to compare with both-jaws prices. The calculator only adds up figures you enter.
The UK figure
There is no official UK price list for full-arch implants. The best published benchmark we could find is a survey of more than 25 UK implant dentists run by Click4teeth in autumn 2016 and reported by Dentistry.co.uk in July 2017. It put an implant-supported full-arch bridge or denture at an average of £13,425 per jaw, with fees from £9,000 to £25,400, excluding consultation, scans, extractions and grafts.
We use it because it is the only figure of its kind with a named source. We always give its date, because fees have very likely risen since. If you have a current UK quote, the calculator uses yours instead.
NHS charges
Band charges for NHS dental treatment in England are taken from nhs.uk: currently £27.90 for Band 1, £76.60 for Band 2 and £332.10 for Band 3. We use them only for check-ups and routine care at home; the NHS does not usually provide implants and does not refund treatment abroad.
Our own price
Precious Dental's prices come from the clinic's published price list and are read into the site automatically each time it is built, so the figure on every page is the same. It is always labelled "Precious Dental, our price" with the month checked. The All-on-6 price is for both jaws in total.
Other clinics' prices
- We include a clinic only if it publishes an All-on-6 price on its own website without asking for your details.
- We quote the price as written, with what the clinic says it includes, and link to the page.
- Where a clinic gives a one-jaw price, we show a both-jaws figure by doubling it and mark it with an asterisk.
- Where a clinic gives a range or a "from" price, we show the range or say "from".
- We do not estimate what a clinic's price leaves out; we say "not itemised" and suggest you ask.
- Prices were read in October 2026. We update the comparison when we re-check, or when a clinic sends us a link to a changed price.
The calculator
The calculator adds up:
- the clinic quote you enter, for one jaw or both;
- any extras the clinic has priced separately;
- flights for each person and each trip, hotel nights not in the package, and other travel costs;
- an optional extra trip, as the NHS suggests budgeting for one;
- your UK check-ups in the first year.
It compares the total with your UK quote or, if you leave that empty, the survey average per jaw. It lists what the quote does not say it includes, so you know what to ask. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
What we do not calculate
We do not estimate flight fares, hotel prices or exchange rates, because they change daily and vary by airport. We do not estimate the cost of complications, which depends on what goes wrong and where it is treated. And we do not tell you whether you need extra procedures; only a scan can.
