Editorial policy
Money pages go out of date quickly and are easy to get wrong. These are the rules every page on this site follows.
Every page on All-on-6 Cost is written by the Precious Dental editorial team, reviewed by our implant surgeon where it touches on treatment, and lists its sources. Prices are taken from published pages and dated. Where no reliable figure exists, we ask you to use your own rather than inventing one.
Who writes the pages
Pages are written by the Precious Dental editorial team: staff at our clinic who answer UK patients' questions every day, working from the questions people actually ask us. We do not use outside writers or ghost-written content. Read more on the editorial team.
Where the figures come from
- UK fees come from the only published survey of UK implant dentists' full-arch fees we could find (Dentistry.co.uk, 2017). We give its date every time we use it, because UK prices have moved since.
- NHS charges come from nhs.uk and are checked against the current band charges.
- Our own price comes from Precious Dental's published price list and is labelled "Precious Dental, our price" with the month it was checked.
- Other clinics' prices come from their own websites, quoted as written, linked and dated.
- Consumer rights, such as card protection, come from Citizens Advice and GOV.UK.
What we leave out
We do not publish averages we cannot source, such as typical flight fares or typical hotel prices, because they vary too much by airport, season and how far ahead you book. The calculator asks for your own figures instead. We also leave out anything that would need a clinical examination to answer: whether you personally need a bone graft, for instance, is for a dentist with your scan to decide.
Medical review
Any page that mentions treatment, healing, risks or materials is reviewed by Dt. Hüseyin Yavuz Özbek, Dentist — Implant Surgery & Prosthetics at Precious Dental, registered with the Turkish Dental Association (number 49105). His review checks that the clinical points are accurate and sourced. It does not make the site independent: he works for the clinic that publishes it.
How we write
- Plain UK English, short sentences and pounds sterling.
- Large, readable text, because many readers are over 50.
- Every price says what it covers: one jaw or both, and what is included.
- Our view as a clinic is marked as our view.
Keeping pages up to date
Each page shows the month it was last updated. We re-check our own prices whenever the clinic's price list changes, and other clinics' published prices when we update the comparison. If a clinic changes or removes a price, we update or remove it.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, email info@dentprecious.com. Changes that alter a figure or a conclusion are listed on the corrections page.
