All-on-6 cost calculator
Enter the quote you've been given and your own travel costs. The calculator adds up the true total, compares it with a UK price, and lists what's missing from the quote.
To find the true cost of All-on-6 abroad, add the clinic quote, anything priced separately (grafts, sinus lift, scans), flights for every trip and traveller, hotel nights, other travel costs, a spare trip in case of repairs, and check-ups with a UK dentist. Then compare that total with a UK quote for the same treatment.
What each line means
| Line | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Clinic quote | The total the clinic gave you in writing, for the jaws you chose. If it's in euros or lira, convert it on the day, and remember exchange rates move. |
| What the quote includes | Tick only what the quote says in writing. Anything you leave unticked appears in the list of questions to ask. |
| Quoted separately | Grafts, a sinus lift, extractions or a 3D scan the clinic priced on top. See hidden extras. |
| Flights | A return fare per person, per trip. Treatment usually takes two trips. A companion pays too. |
| Hotel | Nights across all trips, unless the quote includes the hotel. |
| Other travel costs | Airport parking, travel insurance, meals, transfers if not included, and any time off work. |
| Spare trip | One extra return journey in case something needs adjusting. Optional, but honest. |
| UK check-ups | What your own dentist charges for check-ups and hygiene visits in the first year. |
What the calculator can't tell you
- Whether the quote is right for your mouth. Only an examination and a 3D scan can show how many implants you need and whether you need a graft.
- Quality. Two quotes with the same total can use different implant brands, bridge materials and surgeons. Compare what's inside, not just the number. See what a quote must say.
- The cost of putting things right. The Oral Health Foundation warns that fixing problems later can cost more than the original treatment. Ask who pays if something goes wrong.
Comparing more than one quote
Run the calculator once for each quote and write down the totals. A quote that looks cheaper often moves up once flights for a third trip, a graft and a hotel are added. If two clinics quote different numbers of implants or different materials, ask each one why.

Common questions
Does the calculator send my figures anywhere?
No. Everything is worked out in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or stored.
Where does the UK figure come from?
If you leave the UK quote empty, the calculator uses a survey of 25+ UK implant dentists published by Dentistry.co.uk in 2017: an average of £13,425 per jaw for a full arch on implants. It excludes scans, extractions and grafts, and is dated, so a current UK quote may be higher.
Why add a spare trip?
The NHS advises anyone going abroad to save money to allow for extending their stay and for possible return trips. If something needs adjusting, you pay the travel again.
Why are UK check-ups included?
Implants need regular check-ups and hygiene visits for life. If you are treated abroad, those visits are usually with your own UK dentist and paid separately.
